Women's Lacrosse Dominates Lourdes

(Howell, MI):  The Cleary Cougars Women's Lacrosse team got back on the right track with a dominating victory over the visiting Gray Wolves of Lourdes University, winning 21-2 at Lake Trust Stadium  Monday evening.

How it Happened

• Lourdes would get on the board first, but the next 20 goals were scored by Cleary.  Georgia Price led the way with 5 goals, while Mallory Tognetti posted 4 goals and 3 assists, and Sydney Dickerson added 3 goals and 3 assists.  Isabel Carr chipped in 3 goals and 2 assists, and Lexi Wallace also added 3 goals.
• Anna Clark was excellent in goal, and was only called on to make 1 save on 3 total shots.  

Cleary improves to 1-2, 1-2 in WHAC-tion.  The Cougars will next be in action Wednesday, March 31, when they travel up I-96 to Grand Rapids to take on the Aquinas College Saints.  The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
