Women’s Golf Makes Season Debut With a 9th Place Invitational Finish
(Marshall, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team opened their season at the Olivet University Kyle Campbell Memorial Invitational. The women would play 18-hole rounds over the two-day event. Overall, the team placed 9th with a score of 708.

Emma Smith finished the event with a score of 183. She finished with a tie for 55th.

Jana L'Esperance tied for 25th overall with a score of 171. She would shoot a 90 in her first round and 81 in her second.

Lauryn Jerke finished with a score of 169 over the two days. She would tie for 21st overall.

Allison Kobus tied for 62nd overall with a score of 185 on the weekend.

Brianna Swickard finished with a score of 201 over the two days to tie for 81st overall.
The Women's Golf team will continue their season on Wednesday, September 10th, as they look to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolf Invitational at The Legacy at Ottawa Lake.
