Women's Golf Takes Home 3rd Place After Trip to Ohio

(Sylvania, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's golf team traveled to Sylvania Country Club today to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolves Fall Classic. The girls would finish in 3rd place as a team with a score of +69, 357. 

  • Alexis Sharplin would lead the Cougars finishing at +13, good enough to tie for 7th overall. 

  • Jana L'Esperance would tie for 12th after posting a score of 88. 

  • Kelsey Elliott would finish +17 on the day to tie her for 14th overall. 

  • Lauryn Jerke tied for 27th overall after shooting a 95.

  • Maryann Montgomery would post a score of 102 to put her 36th overall. 

  • Emma Smith who entered as an individual placed 42nd overall after shooting a 107.

The ladies will return to the course on October 16th for their last tournament of the fall when they host the Cleary Cougar Fall Classic at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, MI.
