Women's Golf Post Best Team Score Ever, Finish 4th at WHAC Fall Preview
(Augusta, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's golf team traveled to Stonehedge North Golf Club in Augusta, MI this week to play in the WHAC Fall Preview tournament. Over the two days, the ladies would play a round of stroke play where they posted their best team score ever, 339. They would then be put in the top bracket for match play but would, unfortunately, fall to the University of Northern Ohio, placing them in the 3rd place match where they would also unfortunately fall to Siena Heights University.

Lauryn Jerke would lead the team in stroke play posting a score of 82.

Jana L'Esperance would shoot an 83 in stroke play.

Kelsey Elliott would finish her stroke play with a score of 86.

Alexis Sharplin would follow, posting a score of 88 in stroke play.

Madeline Swett would score 97 in stroke play.
The 4th place finish is the Women's Golf team's best finish in school history for the WHAC Fall Preview. The ladies will return on the course on October 9th for the Lourdes Gray Wolves Fall Classic at Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
