Women's Golf Finishes 5th at Lourdes Fall Tournament
(Ottawa Lake, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's golf team took a trip to Legacy Golf Course for the Lourdes Fall Tournament, their second tournament of the season.

Lauryn Jerke would lead the Cougars shooting a 78, good enough to tie for 3rd place. She was one stroke back from tying for 2nd place, and 3 strokes back to tie for 1st.

Madeline Swett would tie for 18th after posting a round of 88.

Alexis Sharplin would shoot a 94 to place her in 32nd place.

Kelsey Elliott finished 34th overall shooting a 96.

Jana L'Esperance would post a score of 97 to tie her for 35th overall.
Cleary would finish as a team in 5th place, scoring a total of 356. They would fall four strokes short of conference rival Aquinas for 4th place as a team. The Cougars will be back on the links on September 14, 2023, as they take on UM-Dearborn at Mystic Creek Golf Course in Milford, MI.
