Women's Golf Finishes 6th at Gray Wolf Invite

(Sylvania, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar women's golf team had all six golfers finish within 7 strokes of each other, but the team finished in 6th place at the Lourdes University Gray Wolf Invitational at Sylvania Country Club on Monday.

• Madeline Swett led the way for Cleary, with a round of 88 (+16) to tie for 14th
• Kelsey Elliott was entered as an individual, and shot a 90 to tie for 21st
• Alexis Sharplin shot a 91 to tie for 23rd
• Maryann Montgomery and Olivia Rushton both shot 94 to tie for 26th
• Olivia Root shot a 95 and tied for 30th

As a team, the Cougars shot a 367 to finish in 6th place, just 6 strokes behind 5th place finisher Tiffin.  Cleary will finish out their fall season next Monday, October 17, when they host the Cleary Cougar Fall Invitational at Oak Point Country Club in Brighton.
