(Angola, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's Golf team traveled down to Angola, Indiana today for the A.C. Eddy Invitational hosted by Trine University. They would finish in 5th place as a team with a team score of 310, beating out the Trine University B team by one stroke for 6th place. 

  • Johnny Fackler who entered as an individual for this event, led the way for the Cougars with a score of 73 placing him tied for 5th place overall, just two strokes away from tying for 1st place overall. 

  • Basile Malempre and Dylan Sokol both tied for 14th place overall after shooting a 75 on the day.

  • Cameron Thomas and Kaden Patterson would both shoot an 80 to tie for 31st overall.  

  • James Armbrust tied for 52nd overall after shooting an 85. 

The Men look to hit the course again tomorrow with a dual match against Concordia University. They will go to Mystic Creek Golf Course in Milford, Michigan, and tee off at 9:00 AM.
