Cougars Bowl at Scotty Classic

(Jackson, MI)-- The Cleary men's and women's bowling teams were both in action this past Saturday at one of the largest events in the Midwest, as they bowled in the Scotty Classic in Jackson, Michigan on Saturday.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Justin Perdue finished in 39th place after bowling a 4 game series of 769, including a game of 203
- Alexander Lewis finished in 45th place after bowling a 760 series, which included a game of 213 and 232
- Zachary Delong finished in 56th place after bowling a 730 series
- Sawyer Pillen bowled a 704 series to finish in 71st place
As a team, Cleary finished in 17th out of 21 teams.
In the Women's Tournament:
- Samantha Dulz finished in 26th place after bowling a 711 series, including a single game score of 225
- Leigha Rue bowled a 669 series to finish in 38th place, which included a game of 207
- Zoe McDowell finished in 43rd place after bowling a 659 series
- Sydney Small finished in 76th place after bowling a 503
As a team, Cleary finished in 11th out of 14 teams. Both teams will be back in action this weekend, when they bowl in the RU Bubble Invitational hosted by Rochester University.
