(Howell, MI)-- Here is the recap for Cleary esports for the week of February 27:
Last week was a very good week for Cleary Esports as the Cougars won every official competition they had!
On Monday: the League of Legends team faced off against Indiana Tech in the WHAC regular season and won 2-0 to move to 4-0 overall.
The Rocket League team also took on Ferris State University in their NACE league and won the series 3-1. Cleary remains undefeated at 3-0 through the NACE season so far.
On Tuesday: the Overwatch 2 team was back in action for the WHAC regular season against Aquinas College. After a long five game series, Cleary prevailed, beating Aquinas 3-2, and advanced to 2-2 overall on the season.
On Wednesday: both Call of Duty teams competed in their respective NACE leagues. The Call of Duty A team won a quick 3-0 series against University of Jamestown to remain undefeated in their division, moving to 3-0 overall.
The Call of Duty B team played against Butler JV and also won their series 3-0, moving to 2-1 overall.
On Thursday: the Valorant team faced off against George Mason University in their NACE league matchup. Cleary won 2-0 to pick up their second win of the NACE season, moving to 2-2 overall.
As our seasons pass the halfway points, a lot of Cleary teams are looking to be in good positions to make playoff runs! This is especially important for the WHAC playoff seeding, which will be hosted in person at Cleary University on Saturday April 1st and Sunday April 2nd.
