Coaches Pick Cougars 6th in Rocket League Preseason Poll
(Howell, MI)-- The Cleary Cougars Rocket League team has been picked to finish in 6th place in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) preseason coaches poll.
The Cougars finished in 4th place last season in the WHAC's inaugural season hosting esports, going 8-4 in WHAC play. Siena Heights was picked to win the league this year, while new addition to esports, Rochester, was picked to finish in 2nd place. Defending champion Aquinas was picked to finish in 4th place.
Cleary will host the WHAC Championships this year on Saturday, November 19 at the Esports Arena in Cleary Commons.
The Cougars will open up WHAC play on Thursday, September 8, when they take on the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils. The match will start at 8:30 pm, and every match can be streamed online by going to https://www.twitch.tv/clearyesports.
