Esports Weekly Recap: Week of Oct. 10

On Saturday: The League of Legends team had their first two matches. They split them 1-1, beating Georgia Tech but losing to UMBC.

 

On Tuesday: The Overwatch 2 team had their first match of the season, beating Salve Regina University 3-0.

 

On Wednesday: The Varsity Valorant team lost to Dickinson State University 1-2 in overtime in their NACE league match falling to 0-3. The JV Valorant team also lost their NACE league match up 1-2 against George Washington University putting them at 2-1 on the season. The Call of Duty team lost their match against Ontario Tech University 0-3, falling to 0-5 on the season. 

 

On Thursday: The Super Smash Brothers Ultimate team lost to Akron University in their NACE league match 0-2, moving to 2-1 on the season. The Varsity Rocket League team also lost their WHAC conference match against Lawrence Tech 1-3, falling to 6-3 but remaining in third place for the conference standings. The Overwatch 2 team played their 2nd match of the season beating Faulkner University 3-0 to move to 2-0 on their NACE league.

 

On Friday: The League of Legends team played another match in the CLoL Fall Warm up, losing to Virginia Wesleyan University.

 

On Sunday: The League of Legends team played their final CLoL Fall Warm up game, losing to Boston College, to finish out 1-3.
