Esports Weekly Recap: Week of February 13

(Howell, MI)-- Here is the weekly recap for Cleary esports for the week of Februrary 13:
On Monday: Rocket League played their second NACE match of the season against Dayton University, and won that game handily 3-0. Rocket League now enjoys a 2-0 record for the start of their NACE season.
The Overwatch 2 team also played their second game of the WHAC season against preseason favorites Lourdes University. Unfortunately, the team lost 0-3 to the top seed. This brings Cleary University to an 0-2 start on the season, but against two top opponents in the WHAC.
On Wednesday: the Valorant team had their second NACE match of the season against Stony Brook University, in which they lost a very close series 1-2. This evens Cleary's NACE Valorant record at 1-1.
The Call of Duty A team also had their first match of the NACE season, beating Holy Family University in a quick 3-0.
The Call of Duty B team enjoyed a Bye for their third week of the NACE season.
On Saturday: The team had three students compete in the 2nd Spring Hearthstone Qualifier, Andrius Jurenas, Jon Quach, and Kieron Cronin. All three of them finished the day with a 3-3 record, unfortunately falling just short of the 4-2 record needed to qualify for the second day playoffs.
Later in the evening, the League of Legends team played their second match of the WHAC season against Concordia University Ann Arbor. The series ended in a quick 2-0 final score, helping to move Cleary to 2-0 overall on the season.
