(Howell, MI)-- Here is the weekly recap for Cleary esports for the week of October 17:
On Monday: Varsity Rocket League beat Point Park University 3-0 to finish their NACE season 2-4 overall. JV Rocket League beat University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire 3-1 for their first win of the season moving to 1-2 overall.
On Tuesday: Varsity Overwatch 2 beat Cottey College 3-0 to move to 3-0 overall in their NACE season
On Wednesday: Super Smash Brothers beat Malone University 2-0 to move to 3-1 on their season in NACE. Varsity Rocket League played two WHAC conference matches. They beat Indiana Tech 3-0, then lost to Siena Heights 0-3 moving to an overall record of 7-4 in the WHAC. Varsity Valorant played against Rochester University in their NACE matchup and lost 0-2, falling to 0-4 overall. Varsity Call of Duty played against Shawnee State University losing 1-3 and falling to 0-6 overall in NACE. JV Valorant played against University of Cincinnati and won 2-1 moving to 3-1 overall in their NACE league.
On Thursday: Varsity Overwatch 2 lost to Indiana Tech 0-3 in their NACE matchup dropping to 3-1 overall. Varsity Call of Duty played their final game of the season and beat Northeastern University 3-1 to finish their season 1-6.
