Esports Weekly Recap: Week of Oct. 31

(Howell, MI)-- Here is the weekly recap for Cleary esports for the week of October 31:
On Monday: JV Rocket League team beat UofM- Flint 3-0 in their NACE matchup
On Tuesday: our JV Rocket League team beat George Mason University - C 3-2 to win their final regular season match of their NACE season, they finished their season 4-2 overall placing them 3rd in their division. Divisional playoffs for them will begin next week where they will likely take on the 6th seeded UM - Flint again.
Our Varsity Rocket League team beat Concordia University 3-0 in their WHAC conference matchup.
On Wednesday: our Varsity Rocket League team played their last regular season WHAC conference match easily beating Lourdes 3-0 to finish the regular season 9-5, tied for 3rd place with Lawrence Tech. We will be going in to the WHAC Conference Finals hosted here at Cleary on Saturday November 19th as the 4th overall seed, losing the tiebreaker criteria to LTU
Our Varsity Valorant team also played their final NACE league game on Wednesday beating University of Missouri - Kansas City 2-0 to finish their season 2-4 overall. Unfortunately they did not qualify for their divisional playoffs.
Our JV Valorant team also played Wednesday, beating West Virginia University - C 2-0, moving to 4-2 overall with 1 more match against New York University next Wednesday before playoffs after that.
On Thursday: our Super Smash Brothers Ultimate team beat Coffeyville Community College 2-0 in their NACE matchup, also moving to 4-2 overall, with 1 more match before playoffs next week, against Cloud County Community College.
Don't forget, Cleary will host the WHAC Championships on Saturday, November 19 at the Cleary Esport Arena in Cleary Commons.
