Cleary Esports Competes in WHAC Rocket League Tournament
(Howell, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Esport team competed in the WHAC Conference's second ever WHAC Tournament, and hosted the day's proceedings today at Cleary Commons.
Cleary would pick up a round one victory over Aquinas by a 3-1 margin to advance in the winners bracket. They would then face #1 seed Rochester, and fell by a 3-0 scoreline. In the double-elimination tournament, the Cougars were still alive, as long as they didn't lose another match. They would next play Lourdes, and would advance by a 3-0 scoreline, where they were matched up with Lawrence Tech in the Final 4. The Blue Devils would get the better of the Cougars, and eliminate the hosts, as Cleary lost 3-1.
Also recognized at the tournament was Cleary freshman Colin Jetten, who was named 2nd Team All-WHAC.
