Women's Golf Swing Into Spring With 2nd Place Finish
(Brighton, MI) -- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team officially hit the course for the first time this spring as they hosted the Cleary Spring Invitational. They would finish with a final team score of 356 for 2nd place behind the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils, who finished with a 323 team score for first place.

Jana L'Esperance led the way for the Cougars, finishing with a 79 and claiming 2nd place overall.

Jessica Shay tied for 12th overall with a score of 89.

Madeline Swett finished with a 90 to tie for 15th overall.

Lauryn Jerke finished 29th overall with a score of 98

Alexis Sharplin finished with a 99 to take home 30th overall.
The Women's Golf team will be back on the course tomorrow at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Concordia University. It will take place at Tanglewood Golf Course in South Lyon, MI, with a tee time set for 9:00 AM.
