WHAC Announces Softball Postseason Awards; Rzepka Named Second-Team All-WHAC
(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced it's 2025 season awards, and multiple softball players have been regognized.
Mia Rzepka was named Second-Team All-WHAC. Rzepka, a senior from Coldwater, Michigan, led the Cougars with a .348 batting average, .453 on base percentage, and was second on the team with a .504 slugging percentage. She led the Cleary offense with 40 hits, added 17 stolen bases, scored 33 runs, and was hit by pitches 14 times, all to lead the team. She also finished second on the team with 16 RBI.
Senior Grace Pasterik was named to the Champion of Character team, for best representing the five core character values of the NAIA, which demonstrates the NAIA's core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Also recognized were student-athletes who were named to the All-Academic Team. To be honored, student-athletes must have had at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have attended Cleary for at least one full year. They were (in alphabetical order):
