Wrestling Suffers WHAC Dual Defeat to Rochester Christian

(Rochester, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar wrestling team was in action Friday evening, as they took on the Rochester Christian Warriors in a WHAC dual meet.
- Ja'Marcus Smith would earn a 15-5 major decision victory over Chrstian Rojas to earn four team points in 125 lb. class
- Mariano Lopez would earn another four team points after defeating Mario Orueta 15-4 in 133 lb. class
- Louden Stradling would lose a 5-3 defeat to Adam Polk in 149 lb. class
- Lenton Patrick would lose a sudden victory match in 197 lb. class, losing 4-1.
- Eathan Westfall would earn six team points in the 285/heavyweight class for six team points
- Ryan Weaver, Jack Gruno, Jake Lynn, Wyatt Clements, and Alex Nouhan would all suffer defeats in their matches.
As a team, Cleary would lose to Rochester Christian 31-14. The Cougars will be back in action tomorrow to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolves in Sylvania, Ohio at 12:00 PM.
