Men's and Women's Indoor Track Delivers Performance at GR Sports Hall of Fame Classic

(Grand Rapids, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Teams were in Grand Rapids Friday afternoon to compete in the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic. 

In the Men's Meet:

In the 60M, Brayden Jones would finish with a time of 7.31 to place 10th. Jacob Chouinard would finish in 20th place with a time of 7.68.

In the 200M, Jacob Chouinard would finish with a time of 25.74 to place 14th. Preston Mackenzie would finish in 17th place with a time of 26.08. Armani Spaulding had a time of 26.54 finishing in 19th. And Logan Betke would have a time of 33.12 for a 20th place finish. 

In the 400M, Jameson Watson would finish in 16th place with a time of 56.61. Armani Spaulding was right behind in 17th place with a time of 59.37. And Jose Domecq would finish in 18th place with a time of 1:04.59.

In the 800M, Preston Mackenzie would lead the Cougars with a time of 2:19.52 for an 11th place finish. Ben Iobe would place 12th with a time of 2:20.20. Jose Domecq would finish with a time of 2:20.30 to place 13th. Hunter Anderson in 14th with a time of 2:20.53. Noah Blondke was right behind in 15th place with a time of 2:20.88. And Logan Betke with a 16th place finish for a time of 2:53.36.

In the 1 Mile, Noah Blondke would place 24th for a time of 4:56.11. Ben Iobe finished with a time of 5:00.66 to place 28th. And Hunter Anderson would place 29th with a time of 5:00.85.

In the Shot Put, Ryan Kincaid would place for a 2nd place finish with a throw of 13.99m. Robert Karageorge would throw for 11.28m to place 10th. Derrick Murray would throw 10.40m to place 17th. And Logan Rogers would finish in 21st with a throw of 9.20m.

In the Long Jump, Jacob Chouinard would place 9th for a distance of 5.93m. Rodrick Campbell would place 10th for a distance of 5.64m.

In the Weight Throw, Derrick Murray would place 10th with a throw of 11.03m. Robert Karageorge would finish with a throw of 9.28m and place 14th.

In the Women's Meet:

In the 200M, Adisyn Pierce would finish with a time of 29.73 for a 10th place result. Rylie Bjorkman would have a 19th place finish with a time of 32.20. And Kiera Smith would finish in 20th with a time of 36.56

In the 600M, Adisyn Pierce would place 1st with a time of 1:53.83. Rylie Bjorkman would finish in 2nd place with a time of 2:01.48. And Kiera Smith would end with a 4th place result with a time of 2:22.98.

In the Shot Put, Lily Daugard would place 5th with a throw of 11.52m. 

In the Weight Throw, Lily Daugard would throw 14.39 to have a 3rd place result. 

Men's and Women's Indoor Track will be back in action as they head to Fort Wayne for the Indiana Tech Invite on February 6, 2026. This meet will begin at 3:00PM.
