Lourdes' Hofmann, Cleary's Bibbo Named Men's Soccer Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Soccer Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier this week. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Lourdes' Jannik Hofmann as the Offensive Player of the Week and Cleary's Enrico Bibbo as the Defensive Player of the Week 

Hofmann led the way for Lourdes in a pair of wins last week, defeating Huntington 3-1 and Indiana Northwest 2-1. The senior from Germany scored the game winner in both games and finished the week with four total goals and an asssit for nine points. 

Cleary's Bibbo made 9 saves in his Cleary debut last Monday, as he helped the Cougars to a 1-0 shutout victory. The 2-0 start Cleary has is the best start for the program since the 2014-15 season.
