Cougars Take 4th at Gray Wolf Invitational

(Sylvania, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar men's golf team had a golfer place in the top 5, but the team finished 12 strokes behind the winner at the Lourdes University Gray Wolf Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio.

• Basile Malempre posted a +5, 77, to finish in a tie for 4th place
• Cameron Thomas was two strokes behind Malmepre after shooting a 79 and finished in a tie for 15th
• Dylan Sokol shot an 82 to finish in a tie for 29th
• Connor Stiles shot an 84 and tied for 35th
• Logan Smith shot an 86 and tied for 40th
• Ricky Plait was entered as an individual, and shot a 90 to tie for 52nd

As a team, the Cougars shot 322 and finished in 4th place, just 12 strokes behind host Lourdes who won with a 320.  Cleary will finish out their fall season next Monday, October 17, when they host the Cleary Cougar Fall Invitational at Oak Point Country Club in Brighton.
