Bowling Has Strong Performances at WHAC Number 2; Owens Takes 2nd

(Clinton Twp, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams were in Macomb County for the WHAC's #2 jamboree at the Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township.
In the Men's Meet:
- Bryce Owens finished in 2nd place, after bowling games of 217-195-276. Bryce was entered in the JV tournament, and his score did not count towards Cleary's varsity score
- Justin Perdue would finishin 19th, with games of 229-217-167
- Hunter Blackhurst bowled games of 213-223-153 and finished in 31st. Hunter was entered in the JV tournament, and his score did not count towards Cleary's varsity score
- AJ Clark would claim 35th place with games of 179-224-179
- Bowling games of 213-195-150 was Xander Finkbeiner, who finished in 45th
- Ryan Ching would bowl games of 171-217-128 and finished in 66th
As a team, Cleary knocked down 5,762 pins and to finish in 8th place
In the Women's Meet:
- Hailee Hale led CU with a 4th place finish after bowling games of 192-193-230
- Bowling games of 215-153-170 was Amy Jackson, who finished in 26th
- Olivia Solomon would take 38th place with games of 149-170-195
- Samantha Dulz bowled games of 128-173-196 to finish in 45th
As a team, Cleary knocked down 5,545 pins and finished in 6th place.
Both teams will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Ohio to bowl in the Raider Classic, hosted by Wright State University.
