Bowling Opens 2024-25 Season at WHAC Jamboree Number 1
(Jackson, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams begain their 2024-25 season in Jackson, Michigan Saturday, as they bowled in the WHAC's #1 Jamboree.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Howie Hammond led the Cougars with a 194-231-213 series, and finished in 3rd place individually
- AJ Clark finished in 18th place, after bowling a 194-213-179 series
- Finishing in 100th was Ethan Parker, who bowled a two-game series of 218-148
- Hunter Blackhurst also bowled a two-game series, with games of 143-175, finishing in 111th
The Cougars would then bowl four Baker games, with scores of 755-648-671-706, which helped them earn a 8th place finish, with a total of 5,475 total pins
In the Women's Tournament:
- Samantha Dulz led the way, with a three-game series of 153-198-197 to finish in 15th place
- Amy Jackson was right behind Dulz, with a seris of 185-191-167, and finished in 18th place
- Taking 33rd place, was Hailee Hale, who bowled games of 162-177-168
- Leigha Rue would bowl games of 136-167-177, to finish in 46th place
- Olivia Solomon would bowl two games of 132-225, and finished in 79th
Cleary would bowl four Baker games with scores of 672-726-659-738 to climb into the top-half and earned a 6th place finish with a total of 5,369 total pins.
Cleary will next be in action late next month, when they bowl in the AHBA #1 on Saturday, October 26. The action gets underway at the Super Bowl in Canton at 8:00 AM.
