Women's Bowling Takes 3rd at WHAC's Final Regular Season Jamboree; Men Finish 9th
(Allen Park, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams participated in the final regular season conference jamboree, and the women claimed their best performance in program history.
In the Men's Meet:
- Corey Goldsmith was the high bowler for the Cougars with games of 228-187-212-213 to finish in 17th
- With games of 224-177-190-201, Justin Perdue would finish in 39th
- Zachary DeLong would finish in 44th with games of 178-233-206-162
- Ethan Parker was the next ranked bowler, with games of 184-210-193-180, and finished in 50th
As a team, Cleary would finish in 9th place after knocking down 6,753 pins.
In the Women's Meet:
- Hailee Hale finished in 7th place after bowling games of 215-178-236-178
- Finishing in 15th was Courtney Witten, who bowled games of 174-198-212-196
- Leigha Rue was right behind Witten, and finished in 18th after bowling games of 186-232-165-170
- Sam Dulz would take 27th with games of 202-193-146-194
- Amy Jackson finished in 55th with games of 163-156-172-152
As a team, Cleary knocked down 6,676 pins to finish in 3rd place overall, their highest WHAC jamboree finish in program history.
Both teams will have a week off before the WHAC Championships on Saturday, February 17, when they bowl at Royal Scot in Lansing, MI.
