Cougars Bowl at WHAC's Second Jamboree; Women Take 4th
(Comstock Park, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams participated in their second WHAC jamboree in as many days, as they were in action Saturday at the Westgate Bowl in Comstock Park.
In the Men's Meet:
- Justin Perdue led the Cougars with a 38th place finish, with games of 198-151-151-257-202 to total 808 pins
- Hunter Blackhurst wasn't too far behind, as he bowled games of 196-193-180-226 and finished in 43rd
- Ethan Parker took home 50th with games of 227-157-183-218
- Matthew Radjewski finished in 51st with games of 186-195-189-212
- Corey Goldsmith bowled games of 160-161-184-226 to finish in 72nd
- Trevor Cockerill bowled games of 196-181-148-181, and finished in 79th
As a team, Cleary finished in 9th place out of 15 teams, with a total of 7,040 pins knocked down.
In the Women's Meet:
- Courtney Witten took 5th overall, with games of 193-212-181-200, to total 786 pins (196.5 average)
- Samantha Dulz finished in 12th after bowling games of 168-234-157-201, to total 760 pins in four games
- Finishing in 33rd was Leigha Rue, who bowled games of 181-200-166-165 for a 712 total
- Hailee Hale was right behind Rue and finished in 37th, with games of 168-206-165-160
- Amy Jackson had a solid day, wiht games of 200-175-158-135 to finish in 45th
As a team, Cleary finished in 4th place out of 14 teams with a total of 6,541 pins knocked down.
Both teams will be back in action next Saturday and Sunday when they bowl in the Roto Grip Raider Classic hosted by Wright State University.
