Cleary Bowling Plays in First AHBA Tournament

(Canton, MI)— The Cleary men's and women's bowling teams competed in the first AHBA event of the year this past Saturday, October 29th.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Sawyer Pillen led the men's team with a 48th place finish and an individual score of 968 pins across a 5 game series.
- Justin de Bont finished with a series score of 891 through 5 games.
- Following de Bont was Zachary DeLong with a score of 753 across 4 games.
- Reis Stine and Justin Perdue would also add 548 pins for 3 games and 371 pins for 2 games, respectively.
The men's team finished 16th overall with a total pinfall of 6,563.
In the Women's Tournament:
- Leading the women's team was Samantha Dulz with a 3rd place finish overall and a 5 game series score of 1,045 pins.
- Jamie Crandell placed 34th with a total score of 870 across 5 games.
- Leigh Rue would follow Crandall with a total pinball of 863 pins through 5 games.
- Erica Pyden added 765 for 5 games.
- Carman McMahon would also add 704 pins across 5 games.
The women's team finished 10th overall with a team total pinfall of 6,185.
