49 Cleary Student-Athletes Named 2026 NAIA Spring Sport Scholar-Athletes

(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University is proud to announce that 49 of its spring sport student-athletes have earned recognition from the NAIA, and have been named 2025-26 NAIA Spring Sport Scholar-Athletes.
This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the winter sports who have excelled academically, including baseball, men's golf, women's golf, softball, men's track & field, and women's track & field.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.
Baseball had seventeen student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Conner Boone, Brody Fay, Ryan Lieng, Josh Lucier, Brodie Mackay, Joey Parinello, and Ryan Rose, juniors Parker Davis, Ryan Davis, Zach Marsee, Joseph Miller, Hector Montilla, and Chase Palmer, and sophomores Noah Arbogast, Keegan Hutchinson, Peyton Mullins, and Brett Parris
Men's Golf had four student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Johnny Fackler and Basile Malempre, junior Kaden Patterson, and sophomore Axel Houdaille
Women's Golf had three student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Jana L'Esperance and Emma Smith, and sophomore Brianna Swickard
Softball had twelve student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Mckenzie Latshaw, Haley Ludwig, and Ashleigh Tatara, juniors Sierra Diegel, Grace MacCaughan, Ashland Particka, Ashlyn Witt,and Courtney Witten, and sophomores Olivia DeJohn, Jade Kupsky, Paulina O'Donohue, and Summer Smith
Men's Track & Field had eleven student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Christian Hammond, Peter Houston, Preston Mackenzie, Simbarashe Mazarura, and Mason Wildie, junior Hunter Blackhurst, and sophomores Hunter Anderson, Jacob Chouinard, Ryan Kincaid, Luke St. Ledger, and Dylan Tammadge
Women's Track & Field had two student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Samantha Hoelscher and Kiera Smith
