Esports' League of Legends Cougar Spotlight
(Howell, MI)-- The Cleary University Esports' League of Legends team is being featured in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
The team (pictured from left to right) of Noah Chi, John Alonzo, Kieron Cronin, Azeem Ali, William Cronin, and Jon Quach are off to a stellar start in WHAC League of Legends play, with dominant 2-0 victories in each of their first four league matches. The team was picked tied for 1st in the WHAC's preseason coaches poll, and has already defeated Aquinas, the team that received the other 1st place votes.
The team features players that are currently ranked in the top 300 of players in the entire continent in regards to League of Legends. Player/Coach Jon Quach also works for the Golden Guardians, an esport organization owned by the same owners of the NBA's Golden State Warriors.
