Chris Williams Cougar Spotlight

(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University men's basketball player Chris Williams is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.

Williams, a freshman from Southfield, posted a career high 22 points to lead the Cleary offense in Saturday's WHAC defeat to (RV) Rochester.  He shot a staggering 60% from the floor (9-15), including going 2-2 from behind the arc, and 2-2 from the free throw line.  He also grabbed 7 rebounds and added a steal for good measure.

He is Cleary's leading scorer at 11.4 ppg through 10 games played.

You can find Chris and the rest of the men's basketball team back in action on Tuesday, when they take on the Point Park Pioneers as part of a men's and women's basketball double-header.  The women will get things underway at 1:00 PM, and the men will follow.
