(Nov. 11, 2016 - Howell, Mich.) -- While a second postseason bid in program history didn't come to fruition, the Cleary men's soccer team was still able to pick some hardware to close out their season.

Both Noah Schneider (Jr. - Waterloo, Ont.) and Logan Bush (Jr. - Brighton, Mich.) were named the the USCAA Men's Soccer All-American team as Honorable Mention selections.

Schneider lead the Cougars with eight goals and 20 points on the season as he also posted four assists. Bush accounted for four goals on the year but was also noteworthy for being an anchor in the midfield and played well defensively when the opposition had the ball in the Cleary zone.

While the duo was honored for their on-field exploits, four Cougars were named to the National All-Academic team for their efforts in the classroom. Devin Breschke-Hice (Sr. - Bedford, Mich.), Justin Ferreria (Sr. - Listowel, Ont.), Ryan Neceski (Jr. - Waterloo, Ont.) and Santiago Almada (Sr. - Waterloo, Ont.) all were honored for academic success.

Recipients of the academic honor have to have achieved sophomore status and maintain a 3.5 grade point average.
